Louisa, Ky. — UPike picked up another Bulldog baseball standout recently as Cameron Perkins will continue is academic and athletic career this fall.
L to R Ray Perkins, Raymond Perkins, Cameron Perkins, Connie Perkins and Ashton Ferguson
In his only year at Lawrence County he made an immediate impact on defense and will go down as one of the best second basemen in a long time.
This past season Perkins hit .329 with 26 hits, 7 doubles, 1 triple, drove in 17 runs and was 14-14 in the stolen base department.
Perkins also considered Rio Grande and Midway. I’m going to major in physical therapy at UPike.

I want to thank the LCHS coaching staff for pushing me to be the best I can be and a extra big thanks to Coach Feltner for helping me with my college decision and pushing me to be a better man off and on the field.”
