The Rebels weren’t done just yet as Evans added a 3 yard touchdown to make it 29-20 but the two point conversion was no good and Sissonville recovered the onside kick and ran the final :18 seconds off to close out the victory.

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Give Sissonville a ton of credit that is a good football team over there. We were behind the chains a lot tonight and that isn’t a good recipe for winning football. We don’t have a play call for 3rd and 30, had two touchdowns called back as well. Didn’t play very disciplined football tonight.”
“… So proud of our kids though, they fought till the very end when they could have easily folded down 22-0. Been a tough week for our kids because of the heat we really couldn’t get outside much and then had to push the start time back 30 minutes and then the electric went off up here around 3:00 and we were in limbo of when it was going to come back on or not. Want to thank Sissonville for being gracious with everything going on.”
