LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST – JULY 10-16, 2019

In the past 7 period of 12:01 A.M. July 10,2019, thru to 11:59 P.M. July 16, 2019; there were at least 66 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky.
Out of those 71, 13 of those arrested were from Lawrence County ( with 2 of those served indictment warrants while still being currently lodged at the BSRDC ). Another 5 Lawrence County residents were arrested in neighboring and other Ky. counties ( 1 in Martin County, 1 in Greenup County, 1 in Whitley County, and 2 who were first arrested in Lawrence County, and were later transferred to Boyd County).
The names and criminal charges of the latest 13 Lawrence County arrests (with 2 of those served indictment warrants while still being currently lodged at the BSRDC), as well as the 5 Lawrence County residents who were arrested in other Kentucky counties jurisdictions (with 2 who were first arrested in Lawrence County, and were later transferred to Boyd County) are the following:
Jason Maynard, 26, of Louisa, was arrested on July 11,2019, at 11:58 A.M., by deputy Chase Kirk of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with a warrant out of Boyd County, Ky.:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Jason Maynard was transferred from the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky, and was taken to the Boyd County Detention Center in Catlettsburg, Kentucky.on July 15, at 11:44 A.M. for the FTA warrant. Maynard’s bail bond was set at $660 full cash; where he remains incarcerated at jail as of 8 A.M. Wednesday, July 17.
Bruce Bowen Jr., 36 of Louisa, was arrested on July 11, 2019, at 3:17 P.M., by deputy Mason Keefer and deputy Chase Kirk, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER,
• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT).
Kevin E. Kali, 64, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested on July 11, 2019, at 9:09 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),
• FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Tony Curtis Frazier, 53, of Ashland, Kentucky; was arrested on July 11, 2019, at 9:11 P.M., by deputy Dwayne Bowen of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

Shawn Risner, 31, of Lavalette, West Virginia; was arrested on July 12, 2019, at 9:33 A.M., by patrolman officer Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department,and was charged with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR, CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR [2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS],
• FAILURE TO APPEAR,

Kenneth L. Fitch, 45, of Louisa, was arrested on July 12, 2019, at 2:22 P.M., by court security officer Charles Curnutte, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:
• BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE,
• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 1ST DEGREE (MOTOR VEHICLE),
• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE,

Craigory T. Fuggitt, 26, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on July 13,2019, at 10:40 P.M., by deputy Michael Housinger, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

Joshua Triplett, 26, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on July 14, 2019, at 9:33 A.M., by deputy Cory Cook, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

Larry Bartley, 25, of Louisville, Kentucky; was served at the BSRDC in Paintsville, on July 15,2019, by deputy Chase Kirk of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:

Zachary Shane Hopkins, 28, of Louisa, turned himself in Whitley County Ky. on July 11, 2019, at 9:05 A.M., by an officer at the Whitley County Detention Center, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:
• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUB, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (> = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),

Lloyd Brown Jr. 49, of Louisa, was transferred from the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky, and was taken to the Boyd County Detention Center in Catlettsburg, Kentucky.on July 15, at 10:57 A.M. for the FTA warrant. Maynard’s bail bond was set at $1500 full cash; where he remains incarcerated at jail as of 8 A.M. Wednesday, July 17.
Lloyd Brown Jr., was initially arrested on July 6, 2019, at 2:36 A.M., by patrolman officer Teddie B. Newsome, of the Louisa Police Department, for the Boyd County failure to appear warrant.
Carrie Jo Pittman, 40, of Louisa, turned herself in Whitley County Ky on July 11, 2019, at 6:27 P.M., to officer Robert Conley, at the Greenup County Detention Center, to serve a guilty charge plea:
• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER. where Pitttman remains incarcerated at jail as of 8 A.M. Wednesday, July 17.
