INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE WILL BE THURSDAY JULY 4TH STARTING AT 5PM

Louisa Police Department

PSA: Independence Day parade will be Thursday July 4th starting at 5pm. There will be music and food vendors at the Main Street Park starting at 1pm. City Fireworks at 10P.M. that evening.

As the holiday approaches please keep in mind that if you plan to have a fireworks display, that the City of Louisa has a fireworks ordinance. Fireworks may be used on July 3rd and July 4th between 10:00am till Midnight, any other displays or uses must file for a permit through the city clerks office and be approved by the fire chief and the mayor. Applications MUST be submitted 15 days prior to the display or use of the fireworks. Violations of Ordinance #17-08 “Regulation of Fireworks in the City of Louisa” shall be fined $500.00.
