PLAYER’S COMMENTS
“… UPike gave me the small home town feeling. Coming from a small town I knew I would be the most comfortable there, compared to the other colleges that I had looked at. My oldest sister Amber Triplett is currently playing softball for the Bears. Over the last 4 years I have gotten to build many relationships with the students and the staff. Once it came down to making a decision UPike offered everything I was looking for in a college, rather it be for my education or sports.”
“… I have grown in multiple ways over the years playing ball for Coach Horn as a player. Coach is hard on his girls because he knows the potential that we have. I have spent many many hours practicing the game of softball with Coach Horn to get to where I’m at today. He has also helped me grow as a person. The passion him and the team has for God is incredible. They have shown me right from wrong in many aspects of life. I couldn’t ask for better role models. My coaches aren’t just here to win games but they love us like their own. I couldn’t ask for a better team or coaching staff.”
“… I would want to thank My dad for the countless hours of sitting on a bucket so that I could practice pitching, My sisters for giving me the drive that I needed to work hard for what I want in life, my teammates for being there for me like sisters, and lastly my papaw who will always be one of my number one supporter and never missing a game.”

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Allie is one of the toughest kids I have ever coached. She never gets rattled in the circle and has only struck out one time this season after 14 games. She’s so steady and can play every position on the field. She has been voted team captain two years in a row. I’m really happy for and UPIKE is a getting a good one.”
