LOUISA, KY — (FEB. 26, 2025) — In the aftermath of the devastating floods that have impacted countless families in Eastern Kentucky and beyond, clients and staff at Addiction Recovery Care’s (ARC) White Oak Hill facility in Inez, KY, have stepped up to support their community in a time of need. They recently delivered donations to Inez Elementary School and volunteered at the Inez distribution center, helping provide much-needed relief to those affected.
The heart of recovery is transformation—not just for the individual but for entire communities. At ARC, clients are encouraged to not only heal from addiction but also to rediscover purpose through service to others.
“At Addiction Recovery Care, we believe that recovery is about more than just overcoming addiction—it’s about becoming the best version of yourself and serving others in meaningful ways,” said Vanessa Keeton, VP of Marketing at Addiction Recovery Care. “Our clients know what it’s like to struggle, and now they have the opportunity to be a light in someone else’s darkest time. For many of our clients, this was their first opportunity to give back in a way that truly changes lives, and seeing them step up with such compassion and dedication has been inspiring.”
The donations the ladies collected and delivered to Inez Elementary School will directly support families in need, and their tireless work to organize and distribute supplies at the distribution center will ensure that those most affected receive the help they desperately need.
The devastation caused by these floods is overwhelming, but hope is stronger! As Eastern Kentucky continues to rebuild, ARC remains committed to standing alongside its neighbors, offering support, encouragement, and action. The road to recovery—whether from addiction or from disaster—is not one that must be walked alone. Together, we rise.
