COACH’S COMMENTS
“… What a battle at Betsy Layne they are a tough team to play and give Coach Thacker credit for the job he’s done this year. I was very proud of our girls how they battled and competed until the last horn sounded. We struggled offensively but had enough to get the win. We played much better interior defense in the second half and that was the difference in the game. I’m proud of our girls and how they battled. We’re looking forward to this rematch with Prestonsburg. They are a tough fiesty bunch that plays their tails off. We’re excited for the matchup. Can’t wait to play for a district championship again!”

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… I could not be more proud of these girls! Their hard work and dedication finally has shown and been rewarded. They are the 3 Time in-game 58th district cheer champions, in a row. Another first in school history! This is not an easy task going against 3 other deserving teams that work as hard! We’ve had our defeats this year, mostly defeating ourselves, so being able to cap the year off with another cheer title means everything to myself and the girls. We are all grateful for the opportunity God gives to have another day to do something we all love.”
“… Thank you to the crowd, parents, and administrators for always supporting the girls and showing up. Cheer doesn’t get a lot of credit, but we know we’ve accomplished something for the record books! This is something to be proud of and making memories with each other is all that matters.”
