Lancaster, Ky. — After blowing out Martin County 37-7 to open the football season the Lawrence County Bulldogs ( 1-0 ) will hit the road for a neutral site contest with Lincoln County ( 1-0 ) on Friday night.
In the victory over the Cardinals Junior QB Mitchell Frazier went down with a knee injury and is out indefinitely. Senior Kaden Johnson is expected to step in to be the signal caller against Lincoln County on Friday.
With Johnson stepping in as the signal caller the Bulldog line will play a key role in the senior making the transition a smooth one.

Darren Brewer, Brennan Blankenship Levi Hensley, Head Coach Alan Short, Kaden Johnson, Cavin Wiilliams, Chandler Preece
Juniors Chandler Preece and Gray Derifield along with seniors Cavin Williams and Carlo Chicko will also play a pivotal role in the offense.
On defense the Dawgs were lights out against the Cards led by Carlo Chicko, Brennan Blankenship, Andrew Ratcliffe and a host of others.
Class 5A Lincoln County is led by senior quarterback Tucker Foster who is a dual threat QB who can get it done with his legs and his arm after leading the Patriots to a 34-27 victory over Bullitt East last Friday.

Kickoff is set for 6:00 and is the first game of the Golden Lion Bowl at Garrard County High School.
The second game of the night is set for about 9:00 between the host Lions and Estill County.
