Addiction Recovery Care Strengthens Leadership with Appointment of Chris Briney as Director of Enterprise Risk & Regulatory Operations
[Ashland, KY] — August 27, 2026 — Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) is strengthening its leadership and operational foundation with the appointment of Chris Briney as Director of Enterprise Risk & Regulatory Operations.
The role reflects ARC’s continued focus on strengthening regulatory practices, managing enterprise risk and building systems that support both its teams and the individuals receiving care.
“Delivering quality care requires a strong, accountable organization behind it,” said Randy Hunter, CEO of Addiction Recovery Care. “Chris brings extensive experience in behavioral health compliance and regulatory strategy. His leadership will help ensure our operational systems remain reliable, transparent, and built to support long-term stability.”
In this role, Briney will oversee enterprise risk management, internal compliance audits, and regulatory alignment, ensuring ARC’s operational systems effectively support clinical staff and client care.
“Strong operational foundations are what allow clinical teams to focus entirely on helping individuals recover and rebuild their lives,” said Briney.
Briney brings more than 15 years of experience in the behavioral health industry. He most recently served as Director of Compliance at Aliya Health Group in Newport Beach, California, where he spent five years leading enterprise-wide compliance efforts across multi-state behavioral health operations. His experience includes regulatory and accreditation readiness, internal audits, risk assessments, licensing and partnering with clinical, operational and executive teams to strengthen compliance across the organization.
Previously, Briney served as Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager at Wavelengths Recovery in Huntington Beach, California, where he advised leadership on compliance and regulatory strategy, managed regulatory inquiries and external audits, and helped develop processes to support organizational growth.
Having recently relocated from California to South Carolina with his family, Briney is excited to begin this next chapter while continuing his career in behavioral health.
“I’ve spent my career in behavioral health because I believe the work we do matters to people and their families. That’s what drew me to ARC. I’m excited to be part of the team and help support the work being done to help people move forward,” said Briney.
