OFFICIAL WATER CONSERVATION ADVISORY!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LOUISA, Ky – Due to a mechanical failure at the Louisa Water Plant, a Water Conservation Advisory is being issued for all customers served by the Louisa Water System.

Customers are asked to use water for essential purposes only until further notice. Conserving water is necessary to maintain adequate water supply and system pressure while repairs are being completed.

Essential water use includes:

* Drinking water

* Cooking and food preparation

* Personal hygiene and sanitation

* Necessary household cleaning

* Medical and health-related needs

Please avoid all non-essential water use, including:

* Watering lawns, gardens, and landscaping

* Washing vehicles

* Filling swimming pools

* Pressure washing homes, sidewalks, or driveways

* Any unnecessary outdoor water usage

Water system personnel are actively working to repair the mechanical issue and restore normal operations as quickly as possible. Additional updates will be provided as information becomes available.

We appreciate the cooperation and patience of all customers during this time.
