Louisa, Ky. — In the opening game of the regular season the Lawrence County VolleyDawgs swept Martin County 3-0 on Monday evening.

In the first game of the evening the Lawrence County Junior Varsity team was victorious 2 sets to 1 set versus Martin County.

The Bulldogs will hit the road on Tuesday when they travel to Westwood to face Fairview ( 1-0 ).

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… It was an awesome start to the season for both JV and Varsity to come away with wins. We had a great crowd and our players had a lot of excitement on and off the court. Players were aggressive and overall we had some good passing that helped us run our offense. I’m proud of how we started and look forward to continuing to get better each game.”
