Lawrence County Sheriffs Office

On 10/03/2026, Deputy Tyler Laney responded to the 9000 block of North Highway 201 Webbville area regarding a single-vehicle accident with reported injuries.

Upon arrival at the scene, Deputy Laney rendered emergency aid to the driver, Larry Dunn 38 yr old male from Lexington KY. While rendering aid, Deputy Laney observed and seized a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine on Dunn’s person.

Dunn was transported by helicopter for medical attention due to injuries. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded additional illicit substances believed to be Fentanyl, Heroin and Cocaine alongside paraphernalia items consistent with drug trafficking.

The vehicle’s passenger, identified as Kimberly Fowler 35 yr old female from Fort Gay W.V. was arrested at the scene for suspected involvement in drug trafficking.

Additional charges are pending for Dunn. The case remains under active investigation by Deputy Tyler Laney of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
