Eli DeSario ( 7 ) of the Bulldog E team does something that hasn’t been done often this season and that is bring down standout running back Dylan Ferguson with a form tackle.
Tucker Dixon ( 6 ) also a member of the E team making a tackle on Bulldog running back Blue Fletcher.
Head Coach Alan Short has said since the preseason that this group is special, not only on the field but off of it as well and that was put on full display after Tuesday’s practice as the High school Bulldogs interacted with the youth league Bulldogs.
The Big Dawgs will be in action at home Friday night versus East Carter.
The Little Dawgs will be off this Saturday and will host Ceredo-Kenova on October 2nd.

COACH’S COMMENTS
“…The LCHS Bulldogs have been displaying a tremendous brand of football all year, leading to a #4 ranking in the most recent state rankings. However, tonight they were definitely #1 to all of the little Bulldogs, as the pups got to live out some dreams against the Dawgs. Thanks to the players and Coach Short for making memories and continuing to pass on the love for the game. But most importantly, thank you for understanding it’s more than a game and caring for our kids and community. Go Dawgs!”
“… Tucker and Eli have been excited all night! Kinda crazy, I coached Coach Short and Coach Caudill over twenty years ago in high school, now I’m coaching the little Dawgs (5-7 year olds).”
