Timmy Bailey

BLAINE CREEK ROAD (11/27/25) –A 39 year-old Lawrence County man was arrested by Sheriff Chuck Jackson and charged with assault of his stepfather in a fight 10 days ago. The stepdad, Greg Slone, was reportedly injured in a fight receiving a cut to the face which was bleeding at the time of the arrest.

The arrest report said the officers responded to a 911 call from a female who said Timmy Bailey had hit her grandfather. In responding there was evidence of blood on the driveway and in the home.

Witnesses stated Timmy Bailey had struck Greg Sloan in the face. Greg was taken to TRMC for treatment. It was unknown where Timmy was at the time. On speaking with Greg at TRMC he had visible cuts and bleeding from his left eye, nose and mouth. He stated Timmy got right in his face and when he went to nudge him out of his face, Timmy struck him. He also said Timmy had been screaming and arguing with everyone when he was asked him to stop.

Timmy is Greg’s  stepson and is living with Greg.

Timmy came to TRMC and stated Greg slapped him but there was no physical evidence and three witnesses at the home did not confirm that Greg hit Timmy. They stated Timmy hit Greg unprovoked, the arrest report said.
