LOUISA, KY. — TO GO WITH THE NATIONAL ELECTION this November featuring Trump vs. Biden and Kennedy, local pickings will be thin as only incumbents Barbara Robinson (District 5), Jim See (District 2) and Susie Rice (District 4) registered for seats on the Lawrence County Board of Education.
Seven candidates filed for six Louisa City Council. All incumbents filed except Gary Robertson. Two new candidates, Kayla Brown and Joseph Little will join the race for the six seats. Joey McClanahan was the last to register and other incumbents Coty Roe, Rose Lester, Keith Chaffin, Caleb Farley. County Clerk Chris Jobe said McClanahan signed up Tuesday afternoon.
“There will also be two Constitutional Amendments on the ballot but the private school funding proposed amendment will be #2,” Jobe said. “We don’t know for sure what Amendment #1 will be about.”
Kayla Brown Works for and would be an ARC representative. No way.
