COACH’S COMMENTS
“… He is that guy who comes to the field with his hard hat and lunch box. If he fails at something he works to improve it. Last year he didn’t hit a home run this year he leads the team in home runs. One thing he did right was getting in the weight room which made him stronger both physically and mentally.”
“… This season we had two seniors that had great years and nothing to show for it. Both Jared Switzer and Kyler Speer were offered college scholarships but were not good enough to even get any type of post season award. It’s disappointing to tell a young man that hard work pays off then all state comes out and boom nothing to show for it. I realize we don’t have a newspaper in our area other than the Levisa Lazer to cover us and to represent us in the balloting.”
“… Those two players got the shaft AGAIN. I made a few calls to help promote our kids but I didn’t help ’em evidently. I guess at the end of the day I wanted my players to get a fair shake. That didn’t happen.”
