Since there are no regularly scheduled official meetings in June and July, members of the Louisa DAR were presented with an unofficial ‘Afternoon Tea’ on Friday June, 22 , by hostesses Lynn Courtney, Theresa Chaffin, and Evelyn DeBoard at the Louisa First Baptist Church Cafe’.
Members gathered for an afternoon of games, fun, fellowship and an elegant display of food and desserts.
The next official meeting of the Louisa Chapter of DAR will be Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 6:00 pain the cafe of the Louisa First Baptist Church.
Also, cookbooks, Volume II Veterans book, The Brunswick Hotel Registry and One-Room Schoolhouse books are still available for sale.
