“…Wasn’t sure if you all knew about the high school corn hole club that is starting next coming school year.
To kick off the introduction to it. The Cardinal Corn hole Club has hosted its first tournament Saturday May 6th. There is another tournament for all middle and high school kids local and in the surrounding tri state areas which will be held May 20th.
We are hoping it will be a great event and another sport added for the schools. My husband John Mills has been helping Shawn Miller with the program. Shawn is a teacher at the high school and has started this program.
He is the first in the state of Kentucky that has introduced it to the schools.
Johnson county, Floyd county and a few others will be picking it up soon. If you could share the information on your page (website) would be greatly appreciated.
Kids can earn scholarships through ACL (American Corn Hole League) playing in big tournaments. It’s a fun and safe sport everyone is welcome to come out and see what it is about. I’m just spreading the word, and if you would want more information, Shawn Miller works in the vocational department as electrical teacher he would be glad to talk with you.
Thank you Christie
(Editor’s Note) Lawrence County has not joined the league as of this time.
