COACH’S COMMENTS
“… 6th grade: Very young and inexperienced. They haven’t developed chemistry yet which is very common with 6th grade teams. Very good group though that is willing to put the work in to get better. Over time I have very high expectations for that group.”
“… 7th grade: 9-3 start. 6-2 in the conference playing the powerhouse teams very close. This group has surprised a lot of people including me. When their skill catches up to their heart and hard work you better watch out for these kids.”
“… 8th grade: Had a rocky start losing a few games that I believe we should have never lost. Of the three teams this one has the most talent and and skill. They are just now figuring out how to win. They’ve taken 3 of the last 4 and played the best team in the conference really tough. I think it’s starting to click and these kids are buying in to the program and we will see a whole different second half to the season.”
