“…On 04/10/2026 at 20:35, I was dispatched to 2210 Ky-2037 regarding an assault between neighbors. Upon arrival, I spoke with ? who reported that David Roberts and ? entered his property through his fence and assaulted him.
? stated that David Roberts choked him until he nearly lost consciousness and then kicked him in the face. He also mentioned a longstanding conflict with the Roberts and explained that the incident began during an argument with his cousin, which David Roberts misunderstood, leading to the assault. HE provided a video showing the end of the altercation with David Roberts on his property. I then interviewed David Roberts and They stated that: (THEY) yelled profanities at David, which started the argument. David Roberts claimed they pulled him into the fence, initiating the altercation. David admitted to choking and assaulting but stated that he was not involved and arrived after the incident. HE sustained injuries to his right eye and a bruise on his neck. David Roberts was arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, then to Big Sandy Regional without incident.” –E.
