1. Beverly Newsome committed the offense of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon by being in possession of a SIG Brand 9 mm caliber handgun after having previously been convicted of a felony on April 10th, 2013, STATE OF OHIO VS BEVERLY NEWSOME, STATE ID # C796173, FBI# 831802RD3.
2. Beverly Newsome committed the offense of Receiving Stolen Property unlawfully being in possession of a SIG Brand 9mm caliber handgun stolen from Burt Patton of Boyd County, KY.
COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS RONNIE SHANNON
The Grand Jury charges: That on or before July 21st, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:
Ronnie Shannon committed the offense of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance in the First (1st) Degree >2 Grams (Methamphetamine) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 44.6 grams of Methamphetamine, $883.00 dollars in cash money and a set of scales, with the intent of trafficking in that Methamphetamine, or by trafficking in that Methamphetamine.
COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS LONNIE PARKER
The Grand Jury charges: That on or before March 14th, 2026, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:
1. Lonnie Parker committed the offense of Arson in the Second (2nd) Degree, by intentionally starting a fire to destroy or damage a building, namely two (2) mobile homes, owned by Rebecca Daniel of Blaine, KY located on Kentucky Highway 32 in Lawrence County, KY.
2. Lonnie Parker committed the offense of Criminal Mischief in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully damaging property, namely a dwelling house owned by Mr. Terry Williams, located at 21690 Kentucky Highway 32 in Lawrence County, KY, with an estimate of the damages at approximately $2,928.00.
COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS JOSHUA N. GOLSBY
The Grand Jury charges: That on or before April 7th, 2026, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictmentherein, the above-named defendant:
1. Joshua N. Golsby committed the offense of Fleeing/Evading in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully disregarding signals and commands to stop given by Trooper Chase Coverdale with the Kentucky State Police, Post #14 Ashland, KY, while the officer were acting in his official capacity, with the intent to flee, avoid or elude arrest, created a substantial risk, of serious physical injury or death to the Officer.
2. The above-named defendant committed the offense of Wanton Endangerment in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully engaging in conduct that creates substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to another person, namely J.S., a juvenile child.
3. The above named committed the offense of Wanton Endangerment in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully engaging in conduct that creates substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to another person, namely Trooper Chase Coverdale with the Kentucky State Police, Post #14 Ashland, KY.
4. The above-named defendant committed the violation of Speeding 26 MPH Over Limit by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle at a rate of speed 26 miles per hour over or Greater the posted speed limit for the area in which he was operating said motor vehicle.
5. The above-named defendant committed the violation of Reckless Driving by knowingly, unlawfully and recklessly operating a motor vehicle upon the roadways of the Commonwealth of Kentucky without due regard for the safety and convenience of pedestrians and other vehicles upon said roadways.
6. The above named committed the offense of Resisting Arrest by knowingly, intentionally, and unlawfully attempting to prevent Trooper Chase Coverdale with the Kentucky State Police, Post #14 Ashland, KY from effecting an arrest by using, or threatening to use, physical force against said officer.
7. The above-named defendant committed the offense of Disorderly Conduct in the Second (2nd) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully engaging in violent or threatening behavior in a public place with the intent to cause public inconvenience, annoyance, and/or alarm.
8. The above-named defendant committed the offense of Menacing by knowingly and unlawfully placing others, in sonable apprehension of imminent physical injury.
9. The above-named defendant committed the violation of Improper Passing by knowingly and unlawfully being in physical control of a motor vehicle upon a Kentucky Roadway that passesother motor vehicles in a manner other than those defined or restricted to KRS: 189.340.
COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS CRYSTAL WILLIAMS
The Grand Jury charges: That on or before April 5th, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:
1. Crystal Williams committed the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine.
2. The above-named defendant committed the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a pipe.
3. The above-named defendant committed the offense of Possession of Marijuana by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of marijuana.
4. The above-named defendant committed the offense of Failure of Non-Owner to Maintain Required Insurance by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle without possessing the requisite motor vehicle insurance.
5. The above-named defendant committed the violation of Improper Equipment by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle upon a Kentucky roadway with required equipment not properly working as defined and requires in KRS: 189.020.
6. The above-named defendant committed the violation of License Plate Not Legible by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle upon a Kentucky roadway with a non-legible license plate on the vehicle as is required and defined in KRS: 189.170.
COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS AMY SLONE
The Grand Jury charges: That on or before December 27th, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:
1. Amy Slone committed the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a Controlled Substance, Cocaine.
COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS ONA THOMPSON
The Grand Jury charges: That on or before February 9th, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:
1. Ona Thompson acting alone or in complicity with David Green committed the offense of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance in the First (1st) Degree <2 Grams (Methamphetamine) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine, and multiple used and unused plastic baggies, with the intent of trafficking in that Methamphetamine, or by trafficking in that Methamphetamine.
2. Ona Thompson committed the offense of Tampering With Physical Evidence by knowingly and unlawfully destroying, removing, altering or concealing physical evidence that he believed would be used against her/him in an official proceeding.
3. Ona Thompson acting alone or in complicity with David Green committed the offense Trafficking Marijuana (Less Than 8 ounces) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of baggie containing Marijuana with multiple used and unused baggies, a grinder, and multiple smoking pipes, with the intent to traffic in that Marijuana.
4. The above-named defendant acting alone or in complicity with David Green committed the offense of Possession/ Use Drug Paraphernalia by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of multiple cut/altered straws.
COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS DAVID GREEN
The Grand Jury charges: That on or before February 9th, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:
1. David Green acting alone or in complicity with Ona Thompson committed the offense of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance in the First (1st) Degree <2 Grams (Methamphetamine) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine, and multiple used and unused plastic baggies, with the intent of trafficking in that Methamphetamine, or by trafficking in that Methamphetamine.
2. David Green acting alone or in complicity with Ona Thompson committed the offense Trafficking Marijuana (Less Than 8 ounces) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a baggie containing Marijuana with multiple used and unused baggies, a grinder, and multiple smoking pipes, with the intent to traffic in that Marijuana.
3. The above-named defendant acting alone or in complicity with Ona Thompson committed the offense of Possession/ Use Drug Paraphernalia by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of multiple cut/altered straws.
