LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST – OCTOBER 7-12, 2019

In the past 6 day period from 12:01 A.M. October 7, 2019 thru to 11:59 P.M. October 13, 2019; there were at least 82 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 82, 17 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.
Three Lawrence County residents were taken into custody in other Kentucky counties (2 in Johnson County, and 1 in Greenup County).
That is in comparison to the previous past 10 day period from 12:01 A.M. September 27, 2019 thru to 11:59 P.M. October 6, 2019; there were at least 134 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 134, 13 of those arrested were from Lawrence County. Six Lawrence County residents were arrested in other Kentucky counties (3 in Martin County, 2 in Boyd County, and 1 in Henderson County). Also, a Fort Gay, West Virginia resident was transferred and is lodged in Pike County, Kentucky via federal law enforcement.
The number of inmates that were lodged at the BSRDC in Paintsville was 241 as of 7:00 A.M.,Sunday, October 13, 2019.
Since October 1 thru to the 11th, there have been 175 inmate bookings at the BSRDC. And since September 27, there have been 216 inmate bookings at the BSRDC, of which 30 were from Lawrence County.
The names and criminal charges of those latest seventeen arrested in Lawrence County, along with the three Lawrence County residents arrested in other Ky. county jurisdictions, are the following:
Roscoe Muncy, 36, of Adams, Kentucky; was arrested on October 8, 2019, at 1:15 A.M., by Constable Daniel Castle, of the Lawrence County Constable Office-District 3, and Constable Paul Wells, of the Lawrence County Constable Office-District 1, and was charged with:
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,
• TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE,
• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).
Frank D. Marshall, 60, of Blaine,Kentucky; was arrested on October 8,2019, at 1:26 A.M.,by Constable Daniel Castle, of the Lawrence County Constable Office-District 3, and Constable Paul Wells, of the Lawrence County Constable Office-District 1, and was charged with:
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/ POSSESS,
• TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE,
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED,
• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).
Lacy Crothers, 31, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on October 8, 2019, at 3:37 A.M., by deputy Michael Housinger, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),
• ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A MINOR.
Treana Jennings, 37, of Louisa; was arrested on October 9, 2019, at 1:02 P.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Carl D. Daniels Jr., 34, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on October 9,2019, at 2:55 P.M., by Constable Daniel Castle, of the Lawrence County Constable Office-District 3; and Constable Paul Wells, of the Lawrence County Constable Office-District-1, and was charged with:
• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

Carlos Scott Hammond, 35, of Louisa; was arrested on October 9, 2019, at 5:16 P.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

Danny Joe Chapman, 30, of Louisa; was arrested on October 9, 2019, at 5:27 P.M., by chief deputy Mason Keefer, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:
• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE).
Eligah Joe Owens, 44, of Paintsville, Kentucky; was arrested on October 10, 2019, at 12:51 A.M., by deputy Michael Housinger of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

Amanda Thomas, 37, of Louisa; was arrested on October 12, 2019, at 1:49 A.M., by chief deputy Mason Keefer, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:

Joey Lee Thomas, 32, of Louisa, was arrested in Johnson County, on October 7, 2019, at 4:12 P.M., by a deputy of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
