OUT OF THOSE 136 ARRESTS, 18 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

SEPARATELY, 3 LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN OTHER KENTUCKY COUNTY JURISDICTIONS (1 IN JOHNSON COUNTY, 1 IN MARTIN COUNTY, AND 1 IN CARTER COUNTY). ALSO A FORT GAY, WEST VIRGINIA RESIDENT WAS ALSO ARRESTED IN JOHNSON COUNTY, KY.

PREVIOUSLY, FROM 12:00 A.M., SEPTEMBER 1, THROUGH TO 11:59 P.M. SEPTEMBER 16, 2021, (16 DAYS); AT LEAST 135 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, AND MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE.

OUT OF THOSE 135 ARRESTS, 34 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

SEPARATELY, 3 LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN OTHER KENTUCKY COUNTY JURISDICTIONS (1 IN GRANT COUNTY, 1 IN MARTIN COUNTY, AND 1 IN PIKE COUNTY). ALSO A FORT GAY, WEST VIRGINIA RESIDENT WAS ALSO ARRESTED IN PIKE COUNTY, KY.

Amber Ball, 33, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on September 17, 2021, at 11:30 P.M.,by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department,and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR,

William Blackburn Jr., 37, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on September 17,2021,at 11:58 P.M.,by deputy Everett Chase Kirk, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with via a court bench warrant: • FAILURE TO APPEAR; and a grand jury indictment: • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (> OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE).

Kenneth O. Pack,62,of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on September 18,2021,at 12:10 A.M.,by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department,and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR, CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR.

Katrina F Bacha, 46,of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested on September 14, 2021, at 8:35 P.M., by the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER/ $10,000.

Michael Layne Maynard, 40, of Louisa,Kentucky;was arrested on Sept.20,2021,at 4:03 P.M.,by deputy Dwanye Bowen, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with: • VIOLATION OF A KENTUCKY EPO/DVO.

John Thomas Scott, 35, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on September 22, 2021, at 11:24 A.M.by the Louisa PoliceDepartment,& was charged with:•FAILURE TO APPEAR; CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS), • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESSION.

Lowell Justin Maynard, 32, of Louisa,Kentucky;was arrested on September 22,2021,at 4:03 P.M.,by deputy Dwanye Bowen, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with: • SERVING TWO BENCH WARRANTS FOR COURT.

Phillip A. Webb, 34, of Louisa, Kentucky;was arrested on September 22, 2021, at 4:03 P.M.,by the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • DISTRIBUTION OF MATTER PORTRAYING SEXUAL PERFORMANCE BY MINOR, 1ST OFFENSE, • POSSESSION OF HANDGUN BY CONVICTED FELON.
