Lawrence Co. Head Coach Kenny Horn
COACH’S COMMENTS
“… We got down 6-0 in the 2nd inning versus the team from New York and I was ready to pull the entire team. Then a light switch came on and we came back and put 9 runs on the board. And they never scored again. It was one of those moments for the coaching staff that we learned what our kids are made of. Proud of their grit!”
“… We jumped on Butler OH early to get a 5-0 lead and then the wheels on the wagon began to wobble. We gave up 4 unearned runs in the 4th. The bad thing was all the plays were easy plays. We gotta be better than that if we are going to be competitive when it matters. Gotta keep digging.”
