TWO GRAMS OF METH EQUAL LEADS TO FIVE YEARS IN A STATE PRISON: DARREN RAY DAVIS, 56, OF STAFFORDSVILLE, KENTUCKY, WAS CONVICTED OF TRAFFICKING METHAMPHETAMINE IN JOHNSON COUNTY, KY., AFTER STATE POLICE SPECIAL UNIT INVESTIGATION INVOLVED IN THE CASE.
The Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for the 24th Judicial Circuit, Matt Runyon, released a statement that Darren Ray Davis, 56, of Staffordsville, Kentucky; has been sentenced to serve five years in prison following a Johnson County Circuit Court conviction tied to a Kentucky State Police drug investigation case.
According to law enforcement officials, Darren Davis was convicted of
- TRAFFICKING IN A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE; involving more than two grams of methamphetamine following a KSP Drug Enforcement and Special Investigations sting operation.
The investigation was conducted by Detectives Dustin Thompson, Gary Sykes and Brad Martin, who are with the Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Special Investigations (KSP DESI), based out of KSP Post 9 in Pikeville.
