LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ky. (Oct. 18, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced Lawrence County will receive $77,620 in County Road Aid emergency funds for a slide repair on Blaine Creek Road.
The repairs will make travel safer for motorists, pedestrians, school buses and other vehicles that rely upon Blaine Creek.
“The Transportation Cabinet is pleased to approve this request for funding to provide assistance to Lawrence County to repair and maintain safe connections in the community,” said Transportation Secretary Jim Gray.
The repairs will take place on Blaine Creek Road located 1 mile east of KY 707 and extending 650 feet (mile point 1.00 to mile point 1.123).
Lawrence County is responsible for all phases of the work.
