CJ Whitt qualifies for the Golf State Tournament as Bulldogs finish in 7th place as a team

Grayson, Ky. — Lawrence County Boys Golf came in 7th place in the 12th Region tournament on Monday at Hidden Cove Golf Course. 

The Bulldogs shot a 348 as a team and finished in 7th place out of 16 total teams. 

Junior CJ Whitt had a great individual performance for the Bulldogs to qualify for the state tournament after finishing tied for fifth place with a 77. 

Junior Alex Meadows fired a solid 81, falling just one shot short of qualifying. A lot of positives on the course today from the underclassman (Eli Caudill, Brett Mills, CJ Whitt) to build for next year.
