PLAYER’S COMMENTS
“ Baseball has been my #1 passion since I was five years old. I’ve always loved the game of pitching more than anything in any other sport, because you’re on an island going 1 on 1 with kids trying to hit what you’re throwing at them and your whole team is depending on you to do your job well in order to get the win. I had the opportunity to go play college football, and actually spoke to a lot more schools about football rather than baseball, but ultimately I decided I felt like I could get on the field earlier at the next level and protect my body in the future more with baseball.”
“ LC has made this process absolutely perfect for me to get to the next level. Our schedule every season is tough competition, we go out of state and play top teams from other places as well as top ranked teams in KY. The staff has been unreal to me. Coach Musick has always been my positional coach, and ever since I was in middle school, he’s wanted me to play college baseball so big thanks to him in this process. Coach Hill stepped up as our pitching coach two seasons ago and it’s been a blessing working with him every offseason getting every pitch to feel right. Coach Feltner has been great for me in every aspect of coaching. He played a huge role in me gaining 30lbs since last season. He motivated me to get in the building every chance I could during every offseason. And every single time I texted him needing in whether it was 7 AM or 11 PM, it was an immediate yes from him every time. I told him I was interested in college ball and he had me set up with several contacts the next day. The whole staff was great.”
“ Big thanks to my parents for every sacrifice they’ve made for me during my whole athletic career, I wouldn’t be in my spot without them. I want to thank LC’s whole staff, Coach Musick, Coach Holt, Coach Hill, Coach Feltner, they’ve been outstanding to me the last 7 years. Thank you to Coach Stowers and his staff at KCU for giving me this great opportunity to play at the next level. And last I want to thank God for giving me the chance to play this game for as long as I have and now getting to keep playing at the next level.”

“ Braxton has been a staple in our program for a long time and left very big shoes to fill for our underclassmen. Hate to see it be time for him to go but we are beyond excited for his opportunities past High School. He is an outstanding young man that has been raised by great people.”
