A WHOLE LOT OF MR. BROWNSTONE IN THIS GATHERING; NEARLY A POUND AND A HALF OF IT.
The Boyd County Sheriff Department had its largest heroin bust during the early a.m. morning hours of this past Tuesday, April 6.
A drug investigation, conducted by Boyd County deputy Joe Preston, who was assisted by deputy Dusty Childers and deputy Mark Wheeler, led to the discovery of approximately 679 grams (23.951 ounces) of heroin with an estimated street value of $163,000.
In addition, also confiscated in the investigation by the deputies was a vehicle, 8 grams of crystallized methamphetamine, a pistol, and $2,575.00 in cash.
The alleged dealer, 25-year-old Kasey Renee Hall from Stapelton Court, in Rush, Kentucky, in Boyd County, was arrested and charged with two count charges of first-degree trafficking of a controlled substance (heroin), and one count of trafficking of a controlled substance (> or = 2 grams of methamphetamine).
ALLEGED BOYD COUNTY HEROIN & METH DEALER KASEY RENEE HALL.
Kasey Hall’s bond was set at $10,000 cash only for each of the two heroin charges, for a total of $20,000 cash only. Hall was denied bond on the meth charge.
This drug investigation arrest is the largest heroin bust ever made during the tenure of current Boyd County Sheriff, Bobby Jack Woods.
Glad to see a Lawrence County boy is doing us proud. Sure was a big loss for the county!!
