ARC is proud to announce and welcome John Walsh as the company’s new Senior Director of Recovery Services. John comes on board, adding a state and national reputation as an addiction treatment leader with decades of experience. He will take on a pivotal role as ARC doubles down on family programs and its innovative approach to care.
“I have met, worked, and treated a lot of great people in my time in the addiction field,” said Walsh in his introduction to ARC. “In becoming a part of the Addiction Recovery Care group, I can’t adequately express my excitement about moving forward with them in a way that is respectful and meets the commitment that we all need to help clients and client families recover.”
Walsh will lead the newly formed Walsh Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He brings nearly 50 years of experience to ARC’s growing portfolio of addiction professionals. Walsh has held numerous executive leadership roles in residential and outpatient care and is considered a thought leader among addiction treatment communities. Throughout his career, John has stood ready to meet the growing need across Kentucky and beyond.
“There are few, if any, people that have changed the lives of individuals and families the way John Walsh has done over the years,” states Pat Fogarty, ARC’s Senior Vice President of Operations. “Individuals working in the addiction field, families, and those in recovery hold John in the highest of regards. ARC becomes a better company immediately with his addition.”
Walsh served on numerous boards and associations including the Kentucky Association of Addiction Professionals Board as well as the St. Xavier Board of Directors Alumni Association. Previously, John was a member of the University of Louisville Athletic Performance Team, the Kentucky Lawyers Assistance Program and the Kentucky Physicians Health Foundation Committee on Impaired Physicians.
