Tolsia Head Coach David Thompson

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Long road trip and missing four starters and to come away with the win in that fashion says alot about our team. So proud of our effort after a little bit of a slow start. Wasn’t sure what we were going to get when we came out of the locker room but the long touchdown by them woke us up a little and then when Mason Brewer picked up that fumble deep in our territory and took it to the house I knew then we were going to be ok.”

“… Thought we had some guys step up and that is what we were lacking the last couple of years. We are starting to develop some depth and that will pay dividends in the long run. Much need bye week for us coming up and then another long road trip to Calhoun Co. hopefully we can get some guys healthy and back on the field.”

“… Really nice effort by the defense tonight other than a few plays. They are starting to catch on and it showed throughout. If they can keep improving we have a real shot to do some damage this season.”
