Glen Franklin Boyd, 79, of Louisa, KY passed away Friday, October 16, 2026 at Community Hospice Care Center of Ashland. Mr. Boyd was born July 15, 1947 in Louisa, KY to the late Walter and Elvie Meeks Boyd.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Boyd, five brothers, and two sisters.
He is survived by a son Glen Dale Boyd; a daughter, Ivel Michelle (Paydon) Pelphrey; one brother, George Boyd; one sister, Mary Fitch; and one granddaughter, Bella Shae Pelphrey. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
He was a retired Coal Miner.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa, KY with Pastor Charles Price officiating.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, October 20 from 11:00 AM until the time of services at Wilson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens.
All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
