LAWRENCE JUNIOR THOMPSON, 54, OF LOUISA, KENTUCKY; ARRESTED ON SATURDAY, APRIL 25
A Lawrence County, Kentucky man was arrested on late Friday night, April 24, following an altercation at a home in Louisa.
Lawrence Junior Thompson, 54, of Louisa, was arrested by the Louisa Police Department following a reported domestic incident on Hay Corner.
Lawrence Thompson was charged with:
• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) – NO VISIBLE INJURY;
• TERRORISTIC THREATENING, 3RD DEGREE;
• RESISTING ARREST.
According to the citation, officers responded to a report of an argument between individuals at a residence. The arrest report states the subject had allegedly been drinking and was involved in a physical altercation. Officers also noted that Lawrence Thompson failed to comply during the encounter and was taken into custody.
Lawrence Thompson was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center for medical clearance, before being transported to, booked and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville; where he remains incarcerated as of Tuesday afternoon, April 28.
