We are excited to share that this morning we announced an agreement to acquire Citizens Bank of Kentucky.
Citizens Bank of Kentucky is headquartered in Paintsville, Kentucky, and operates 12 bank branches located primarily in Eastern Kentucky.

Soon we will be able to offer more locations, products, and services to both Citizens and Peoples customers, making a greater impact in our Eastern Kentucky communities “
The acquisition is expected to close during the second half of 2026, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals and the approval of the shareholders of Citizens.
