Billy B. Ross, 74, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April17, 2026.
He was born June 3, 1950 in Louisa, KY to the late Robert and Clara Salyers Boggs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Ronnie “Grubb” Ross; grandparents Lee and Lydia Ross; and siblings Gary (Jeanette) Ross, Melva Ross, Robert (Carol) Ross, Jr., and James Ross.
Bill attended Catalpa Free Will Baptist Church. He loved ride around town on his power chair. He had a great love of music, but his grandchildren were his world.
Surviving are his children Rodney (Sonya) Boggs and Angela Ross; grandchildren Breanna Lynn (Cody) Boggs-Jackson, Katelynn Marie (Damian Salyers) Boggs, and Hailey Thompson; great grandchildren Jaelynn Jackson, Brantley Jackson, Jaqueline Jackson, and Emilia Jackson; brother and sister in law Steven and Cheryl Ross; sister Peggy Ross; bonus daughters Barbara Frazier and Stephanie Meade Foster; special friend Jay Mabry, who would visit often and sing, play music, and pray with him; and several special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jimmy Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Ross and his family.
