The Bulldogs ( 12-5 ) will play for 5th place on Saturday afternoon versus Allen County-Scottsville ( 13-6 ) at 2:00 weather permitting.

Bulldog Head Coach Sam Sparks

 COACH’S COMMENTS

“… I thought both of our pitchers gave us a chance to win the first one. We have to do a better job with runners on base. We struck out ten times and alot of those on pitches out of the zone. We had some chances but we have to be more disciplined at the plate. Against a team like that we have opportunities you have to take advantage. Disappointment because we aren’t moving on in the winners bracket.”

“… We bounced back versus Clay County in the second game. We hit the ball better, made some hard outs and Kitts had two homers, Brinley Baisden pitched her heart out even though they scored four runs some of those were unearned. It was an ok day but could have been better if you’re in the winners bracket.”
