Re: Request to the Lawrence County Board of Education for abolishments, creation, and/or changes regarding position(s):
Request for the following to be created for the LCHS ABA2 Program (Apprenticeship Building America, Round 2 Grant):
- Teacher’s Aide
- Greenhouse Worker
- Culinary Apprentice
- Landscape Management
- Sales and Marketing
-Starting rate $7.50/hr;
-Students meeting the requirements of the competency checksheet at the halfway point of their apprenticeship will receive a rate of $7.75. The Lawrence County School District will be reimbursed up to 50% of each students’ salary from the ABA grant up to $3564.00.
