A Martin County, Kentucky and a Lawrence County, KY. man got their April Fools Day turned upside down by themselves getting fooled by law enforcement in separate cases on April 1.

In the first case, the Martin County man, who was identified as James C. Sizemore, 52, of Tomahawk, KY., was arrested by Kentucky State Police on KY. 3 in Louisa in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 1.

James Sizemore was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

In the second, separate case at nearly the same time of early Wednesday morning, a Lawrence County man, who was identified as Parker McCoy, 64, of Louisa, KY., was arrested in Johnson County by officer Justin Jackson of the Paintsville Police Department.

APRIL FOOL NUMBER TWO: PARKER MCCOY, 64, OF LOUISA, KENTUCKY (MUGSHOT TAKEN IN OCTOBER 2019) .

According to the arrest citation, officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and observed Parker McCoy making movements toward the floorboard. During a search, officers located a bag containing pills identified as hydrocodone. The arrest citation states additional pills were later located hidden in Parker McCoy’s boot.

Parker McCoy was placed into custody and was charged with:
*POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE HYDROCODONE;
