COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS. CHRISTOPHER SONS

The Grand Jury charges: That on or before August 9th, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

1. Chrsitopher Sons committed the offense of Fleeing/Evading in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully disregarding signals and commands to stop given by Deputy Daniel Castle and Deputy Joe Osborne with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department with the intent to flee,
avoid or elude his arrest, created a substantial risk, of serious physical injury or death to Officers with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.

2. The above-named defendant committed the offense of Wanton Endangerment in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully engaging in conduct which creates substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to another person, namely Deputy Daniel Castle..with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, while acting within the official capacity of the office.

3. The above-named defendant committed the offense of Wanton Endangerment in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully engaging in conduct which creates substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to another person, namely Deputy Joe Osborne with with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, while acting within the official capacity of the office.

4. The above-named defendant committed the offense of Operating a Motor Vehicle on Suspended or Revoked License by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle while his/her license to operate said motor vehicle had been suspended or revoked.

5. The above-named defendant committed the violation of No Tail Lamps by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle while the motor vehicle had non-functioning tail lamps.

 

COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS. GAGE BURRIS

The Grand Jury charges: That on or before July 27th, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

1. Gage Buris committed the offense of Fleeing/Evading in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully disregarding signals and commands to stop given by Trooper Chase Coverdale with the Kentucky State Police Post 14 Ashland, KY with the intent to flee, avoid or elude his arrest, created a substantial risk, of serious physical injury or death to Trooper Coverdale.

2. The above-named defendant committed the violation of Speeding 26 MPH Over Limit by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle at a rate of speed 26 miles per hour over the posted speed limit for the area in which he was operating said motor vehicle.

3. The above-named defendant committed the violation of Reckless Driving by knowingly, unlawfully and recklessly operating a motor vehicle upon the roadways of the Commonwealth of Kentucky without due regard for the safety and convenience of pedestrians and other vehicles upon said roadways.

4. The above-named defendant committed the violation of No Registration Plates by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle upon a Kentucky roadway without proper registration plates as defined in KRS: 186.170.

5. The above-named defendant committed the offense Failure of Owner To To Maintain Req Insurance 1st by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle on a Kentucky roadway without proper securities insurance as defined in KRS: 304.39-080.

 

COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS. Larry HORN Jr.
The Grand Jury charges: That on or before July 10th 2025 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:
16th, 202 ctment

1.Larry Horn Jr. committed the the offense of Bail and the in First (1st) Degree by knowingly jumping unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, upon condition that he/she will at a and place in specified time subsequently appear (Martin Circuit Court felony charge connection with 25-CR-00110 place as grdered , he/she failed to appear at that time and court, namely Arraignment Hearing.

 

COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS. Brian Carter

The Grand Jury charges: That on or before July 10th, 2025 in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

1. Brian Carter committed the offense of Bail jumping in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, upon condition that he/she will subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge (Martin Circuit Court 24-CR-00075), he/she failed to appear at that time and ordered by the court, namely an Report Date.

 

COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS. SAM SHEPHERD, DEFENDANT

The Grand Jury charges: That on or before March 8th, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant (s):

1. Sam Shepherd committed the offense of Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $10,000 by knowingly and unlawfully taking a 2019 Coachman brand travel trailer, owned by Brad and Patricia Crites, from its location at Creekside Cabins in the Fallsburg Community of Lawrence County, KY, with an approximate value of the travel trailer at $12,991.00.

 

COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS. MADALINE JOHNSON
The Grand Jury charges: That on or before May 30th, 2025, through June 11th, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

1. Madaline Johnson acting alone or in complicity with Charles Marcum committed the offense of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance in the First (1st) Degree <2 Grams (Methamphetamine) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine, and $75.00 in cash monies two (2) sets of digital scales and individual plastic baggies, with the intent of trafficking in that Methamphetamine, or by trafficking in that Methamphetamine.

2. Madaline Johnson acting alone or in complicity with Charles Marcum committed the offense of Trafficking in a (1st) Degree by Controlled Substance in Substance in the First in possession of a knowingly and unlawfully being controlled substance, namely Fentanyl, $75.00 in cash monies, two (2) sets of digital scales and individual plastic baggies with the intent to traffic in that controlled substance or by trafficking in a controlled substance, namely Fentanyl.

 

COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS. CHARLES MARCUM, DEFENDANT

The Grand Jury charges: That on or before May 30th, 2025, through June 11th, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

1. Charles Marcum acting acting alone or in complicity with Madaline Johnson committed the offense of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance in the First (1st) Degree <2 Grams (Methamphetamine) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine, and $75.00 in cash monies two (2) (2) sets of digital scales and individual plastic baggies, with the intent of trafficking in in that Methamphetamine, or by trafficking in that Methamphetamine.

2. Charles Marcum acting alone or in complicity with Madaline Johnson committed the offense of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, namely Fentanyl, $75.00 in cash monies, two (2) sets of digital scales and individual plastic baggies with the intent to traffic in that controlled substance or by trafficking in a controlled substance, namely Fentanyl.

 

COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS. JEFFREY BALL

The Grand Jury charges: That on or before July 31st, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

1. Jeffrey Ball acting alone with complicity Christopher Cox committed the offense of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance in the First (1st) Degree >2 Grams (Methamphetamine) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 26.9 grams of methamphetamine, and $456.00 in cash monies, with the intent of trafficking in that trafficking in that Methamphetamine, by or Methamphetamine.

2. Jeffrey Ball acting alone or in complicity with Christopher Cox committed the offense Trafficking Marijuana (Less Than 8 ounces) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 13.6 grams of Marijuana and $456.00 in cash monies, with the intent of trafficking in that marijuana, or by trafficking in that marijuana.

 

COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS. CHRISTOPHER COX, DEFENDANT

The Grand Jury charges: That on or before July 31st, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

1. Christopher Cox acting alone or in complicity with Jeffrey Ball committed the offense of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance in the First (1st) Degree >2 Grams (Methamphetamine) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 26.9 grams of methamphetamine, and $456.00 in cash monies, with the intent of trafficking in that Methamphetamine , or by trafficking in that Methamphetamine.

2. Chrsitopher Cox acting alone in complicity with Jeffrey Ball committed the offense Trafficking Marijuana (Less Than 8 ounces) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 13.6 grams of Marijuana and $456.00 in cash monies, with the intent of trafficking in that marijuana, or by trafficking in that marijuana.

3. Christopher Cox committed the violation of Rear License Not Illuminated by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle on a Kentucky roadway without proper rear license not properly illuminated as defined in KRS: 186.170.

 

COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY VS.KYLE DAVIDSON

The Grand Jury charges: That on or before May 29th, 2025, in Lawrence County Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

1. Kyle Davidson committed the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance in the (1st) Degree First knowingly and unlawfully unlawfully being in possession of Controlled Substance, namely Methamphetamine.

2. Kyle Davidson committed the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First (1st) Degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession Schedule I narcotic, Fentanyl.

3. The above-named defendant committed the offense of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol/ Drugs First (1st) Offense or Greater Within Ten (10) Years by operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other substances that impair a driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle.

4. The above-named defendant committed the violation of No/ Registration Receipt by and unlawfully knowingly operating a motor vehicle upon a Kentucky roadway without proper registration plates as defined in KRS: 186.170.

5. The above-named defendant committed the violation of Failure To Produce Insurance Card by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle upon motor vehicle upon a Kentucky roadway without an Insurance Card as defined and required in KRS: 304.39-117.

6. The above-named defendant committed the offense of Operating a Motor Vehicle on Suspended or Revoked License by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle while his license to operate said motor vehicle had been suspended or revoked.
