Louisa, Ky. — After dropping their opening game of the season the Lawrence County Girls Soccer team ( 2-1 ) posted back to back shutouts over Belfry and Pikeville respectively.

In an early morning affair on the road the Dawgs came out firing on all cylinders and picked up win number two on the season.
Freshman Addy Howard recorded a hat trick, Sophomore Paula Corominas and Junior Dakota Thornsbury scored one goal each.
Sophomore Emalynn Kitts recorded the shutout for the SoccerDawgs in goal.

The SoccerDawgs went into Pond Creek and came out with their first win of the season shutout fashion behind Emalynn Kitts in goal.
Harper Cline, Paula Corominas and Freshman Lizzie Mynhier had two goals each, Dakota Thornsbury and Sophomore Elle Parsley scored one goal each.
The Bulldogs will return to action on Tuesday when they host Martin County and then on Thursday Johnson Central comes to Louisa.

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… We had a rough start to the season in the opener. Lessons were learned and we came back out and finished on a high note. This coming week we will be playing two strong teams at home, so come out support the Lady Soccer Dawgs.”
