TRANSCRIBED FROM LVFD FB PAGE
“…Tuesday night, Fort Gay Volunteer Fire Department had a structure fire, which was contained to one bedroom.
During overhaul, Firefighter Brayden Burton began feeling bad/sick and was taken outside to be checked. While being checked he began having seizures.
He was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center and during transport he had several more seizures. Later on he was transferred to Cabell where he continued to have seizures. The next morning his airway began to swell/close off, his O2 dropped, and he is now on a ventilator.
We are asking our community to rally behind Brayden, as well as his family. They need all the prayers possible. Please join us in prayer for one of our fellow firefighters.”…
