Lawrence County Tourism Commission – Kentucky is feeling grateful at Yatesville Lake State Park. I am delighted to announce that the efforts of our group, led by Amy Wallace Whelan, have yielded significant results this year. Yatesville Lake is notably cleaner, and I extend special gratitude to Jerry Whelan, Greg Delong, Jamison Ison, Paul Waker and the Lawrence County Solid Waste Department, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nick Sagwitz Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, the Lawrence County Trails Committee, and all who contributed to this initiative.

–Wes Kingsmore, LCTC president
