Meth found in home with toddler inside
MARTIN COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) — Two women are facing charges after meth making materials were found inside a house while a toddler was inside.
Suzanne Webb, 44 and April Brewer, 37, both of Lovely, are facing multiple charges including endangering the welfare of a minor.
According to the criminal citation, social services asked Martin County deputies to check out a home in the 5400 of Ky. Rt. 292 after they got a complaint.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they searched the home with the owner’s consent.
Deputies found a pink purse inside a heating and cooling unit with another woman hiding inside. Syringes and spoons were found inside the purse that had been used for drugs.
Items used to make meth were also found under a bathroom sink.
Brewer’s brother, Larry, took off from the house after stating meth was being made there.
Larry Brewer, 42, is charged with fleeing, possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a minor and drug paraphernalia.
Brewer was captured in Mingo County after crossing the Tug Fork in to Kermit.
Deputies also found a coffee filter outside a bedroom window with meth inside.
Webb and Brewer are charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of meth, endangering the welfare of a minor and drug paraphernalia.
