Beginning Monday, October 13

Oct. 13- Oct. 24 the Road Will be Closed Day and Night.

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Oct. 8, 2025) – Beginning Monday, Oct 13, Boyd County crews will close KY 3 (milepoint 6.8, KY 1937

Bear Creek) for a culvert replacement. Barricades will be in place for the public as well as signage. This will be a day and night closure.

Traffic will be able to detour using, Ky 3 from Lawrence County to Ky 966 Trace Road to US60, and from KY 3 to KY 1937 Bear Creek to KY 854 Davis Branch and back to KY 3.

Road work schedules may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
