Fort Gay, W. Va. — Tolsia ( 15-5 ) Girls closed out the regular season with a 53-43 victory over Mingo Central ( 10-10 ) on Tuesday at Rebel Arena.

Autumn Block scored a team high 21 points to lead the Rebels, Kerigan Salmons scored 14 points including 12 in the third quarter, Brooklyn Evans tallied 10 points, Lynndsey Cassell and Graci Snyder scored 4 points each.
Tolsia went 14 of 18 from the foul line and hit 3 three pointers.
Addie Smith led the Miners with 26 points, Madison Curry 7 points, Allyssa Davis and Megan Adkins had 4 points each.
The Miners hit 5 three pointers and went 4 of 9 from the foul line.

The Rebels routed the Soldiers on Senior night after starting the game on a 17-0 run.
Kerigan Salmons was the leading scorer with 15 points including 3 three pointers, Senior Lynndsey Cassell also hit 3 three pointers for 11 points, Autumn Block also tallied 11 points, Senior Graci Snyder netted 9 points, McKenzie Cassell 8 points, Julie Young and Emily Artrip 6 points each, Senior Brooklyn Evans, Amber Stevens 3 points.

The Rebels hit 7 three pointers and went 8 of 10 from the foul line.
Grace Christian ( 12-6 ) was led by Sydney Cicinas with 9 points, Abby Newcome 4 points, Carli Adkins 3 points, Marleah Wilson, Caitlyn Adams, Katie Holderby and Madelyn Eddy 2 points each.
The Soldiers went 4 of 13 from the foul line.
#2 Tolsia will begin postseason play at 6:00 Monday February 21st versus #3 Sherman at Logan High school.
#1 Tug Valley will play #4 Van at 7:30 at Logan in the other semifinal.
The Championship game will be on Thursday at 7:00

“… This group of seniors has been great to work with this year. They are very talented and work hard to get better. This has been a very different season, dealing with COVID, weather and injuries. The group has persevered and made it to the beginning of post-season. They will all be successful in any endeavors the future brings. They are talented players and even better people, we have enjoyed working with them this season.”
