COACH’S COMMENTS
“…, We are not used to going that long between victories around here but we really needed it. It’s been a long 32 days since our last victory and it came in a really tough place to play. We almost blew that big lead but the kids really stuck together to get the win.”
“… Van has some tough kids and they play so hard. They are long and tough to guard. This was a great sectional win in a tough environment. It bodes well for seeding in the postseason tournament to get a road victory like this. Muncy and Johnson were both in foul trouble but we couldn’t afford to take them out they were scoring and handling the ball so well.”
