COACH’S COMMENTS
“… At the beginning of this season, I knew we had a lot of work to do based on the fact that the majority of this team had never cheered or competed at this level, or at all, before. We struggled to even accomplish the basics. After much hard work, structure and discipline, these girls were able to perform a routine at Regionals. Which to some, thought was impossible. And most, doubted. Not only did they just compete at Regionals, but they also came out as Runner-Up, winning a bid to the State Competition. That lit a fire underneath these girls, and the next practice they came in with a deep desire and drive. As we get ready to head to State, I am confident that these 8 girls will execute nothing less than their very best. And that’s all that I will ever ask for. Despite where they started, or what the outcome may be this weekend, I can honestly say that these kids have truly put in the work for what it takes to be a State Champion. Coming from absolutely zero background or knowledge, and now being qualified to compete with the best of the best.”
“… I couldn’t be anymore proud than I already am. I have no doubt that this team has built a strong foundation for whats to come with the Tolsia Cheerleading Program, who is a former 12 time State Championship School.”
