COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Two good team wins early in the week for Varsity and JV in Myrtle Beach. Bats have been hot, and pitchers have thrown it well. It’s good to see the JV team get more game time in, and they have scored a bunch of runs early.”
“…We are playing our brand of ball using contact and speed. The players enjoyed a college recruiting workout after our game on Tuesday and they are all having a blast at the beach. Varsity team got rained out on Wednesday and finished the trip on Thursday and faced the best pitcher we’ve seen so far this year from Victor, NY, and it was good for us to battle for a 5-3 win to finish the trip and stay unbeaten on the year.”
“… Good week of ball overall. Rained out on Wednesday, so we didn’t get a full schedule in at the beach, but we took care of business and I was happy to hear from strangers all week how polite our team is as a whole. I am very proud of the varsity group and their behavior away from home. Big week ahead as we head into the 2A and then the Boyd Showcase next Saturday. We were able to have a beachfront Easter service on Sunday with the whole team, and a lot of team bonding happened all week.”
“… Thanks to everyone back home for the support!”
