Louisa, Ky. — Senior Aiden Mynhier scored four goals to help Lawrence County to a 8-0 victory over Pike Co. Central Tuesday evening.

Senior Aiden Mynhier who garnered back to back ‘player of the week’ honors had 4 goals. Cooper Vinson and Isaac Maynard had 1 goal and 1 assist each, Senior Boedy Maynard and Blake Prince had 1 goal each, Senior Owen Pack had 3 assists, Isaac Febish 1 assist, Goalie Cole Robinette had 1 save.

The SoccerDawgs improved to 8-7 on the year and will close out the regular season Wednesday with a trip to Ironton St. Joe.

Bulldog Head Coach Scott Johnson

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Last night we started slow as Pike Central did a great job defending and making scoring difficult.  Things really opened up for us in the last 10 minutes of the half and we were able to head into the 2nd half with a 4-0 lead.  That pattern continued in the second half with 4 more quick goals.”

“… This year’s seniors are just a great group of leaders.  All of them are outstanding kids with great personality, work ethic, and sense of humor.  It is a solid bunch of boys that give the younger guys something to live up to.”
