Lawrence Co. Boys Head Coach Scott Johnson
COACH’S COMMENTS
“… A tale of two halves. We had a great first half and went up by one. In the second half Johnson Central pressured us on our end of the field for most of the game. Ryland Brady played fantastic in the net to keep the lead until about the last ten minutes.”
Lawrence Co. Girls Head Coach Sonny Mynhier
COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Reagan Webb and Abby Maynard more than deserved the 2A all tournament team Tuesday night, but they weren’t the only ones to show what LC is made of. Molly McClanahan and Kendyl Webb worked well together up top to get the goal. Summer King and Emalynn Kitts worked in tandem to shut down several attacks and Katie Compton kept the left side locked down forcing Letcher to have to run the middle.
“…I could sit here and name several different things that every girl did that was noted in that game. And although the 2A game was not the outcome we desired, the improvement these girls have made already in this season is still unmatched. Our schedule has not been an easy one, but it takes challenge to create change and it takes change to create champions. We aren’t even close to being finished, we are just at the beginning of this chapter in LC lady bulldogs soccer.“
